We are receiving many questions about this video with the comment below that we posted, and which rod and line are being used.

It is wonderful to see this young talent Laurens, who this afternoon had the opportunity to try our ECR combo set at the fair in Lingen.
We wish you lots of fly fishing enjoyment with this set and also with your new acquisition, the Switch 4/5. We saw you casting with that as well and are very impressed, keep up the great work!

Laurens is casting our new E.C.R combo set. Below is an explanation of the set and why we brought it to market:

Yes, it is possible to present a fantastic combo set at this price.

This is a very pleasant set for both beginners and advanced anglers. You will truly be surprised by its casting performance and balance. Even EFFA instructors and more experienced fly fishermen who have cast with it at various exhibitions are very impressed and wonder how this is even possible at this price which is, of course, great to hear!

Included in the set:

E.C.R. 9 ft Dark Grey Fly Rod in class 5 or 6

DC or G6 Fly Reel # 5/6

WF Fly Line in # 5 or 6

50 meters of backing

Including transport tube with reel pouch, allowing you to keep the reel mounted on the rod

Backing and WF line are not pre-spooled and are supplied separately

Fly line and backing color may occasionally differ from the images shown, depending on available stock at the time

In short, a pleasure to fish with, and we have kept the price as low as possible, especially for young people who want to start and for beginner fly fishers who are still hesitant to take the step. This makes the barrier easier to overcome compared to other brands, without having to spend a fortune.

We already wish you lots of enjoyment on the water with our new E.C.R combo set!

The combo set is available in class 5 and 6, with the option of our DC or G6 reel.

And now the price… this set is fully available including DC reel for €109.95 and with G6 reel for €129.95!

Fly fishing can indeed be much more affordable without choosing expensive brands. Often, you only pay for the name and you will not catch more or fewer fish because of it.
