SF Kapok Fusion UV Dubbing Olive Dun

Kapok Fusion UV Dubbing is an ultra-fine, highly buoyant dubbing from Semperfli. Kapok has 3.5 times the buoyancy of cork and was historically used in life jackets. This natural hollow fibre is extremely light, moisture-resistant and fast-drying. In Kapok Fusion, kapok is blended with SemperSeal for spikiness, Ice Dubbing for flash, and UV fibers for extra attraction.

The fibres are extremely fine (30–36 microns, about 1.8 cm long), making them roughly half the thickness of standard superfine dubbing. This makes the material ideal for tiny dry flies and nymphs, giving precise profiles without bulk. Semperfli’s advanced dyeing process creates consistent natural colours. Kapok retains buoyancy for a long time, absorbing water only slowly even after days.
