Spyder Thread 18/0 is an ultra-fine 30D, 18/0 traditional tying thread, specially developed for tying small and delicate flies. Its semi-transparent character allows the thread to subtly take on the underlying color of the pattern, resulting in a natural-looking finish.

With two finely twisted strands and a breaking strain of approx. 400 g, Spyder Thread 18/0 is significantly stronger than many comparable threads. This additional strength gives the fly tyer confidence that the thread will hold reliably, even when tying very small hooks and fine materials. Thanks to the two strands, the thread can also be laid relatively flat, helping to create neat, smooth heads and bodies.

Spyder Thread 18/0 is unwaxed, making it ideal for those seeking maximum control and the slimmest possible profile.
