FLC #9 Pike Fly Line Float fly fishing line
The FLC #9 Pike Fly Line Float is specially designed for casting large streamers on pike and other predatory fish. This line is constructed to give you maximum power and control from your cast with minimal effort.
The core has extremely little stretch, so every movement is transmitted instantly. This ensures not only a powerful transfer of energy during the cast, but also very direct bite registration during remote bites. The short belly and extra weight over standard #8 lines allow modern, powerful rods to load optimally, resulting in stable casts.
With a head of 29 ft (8.84 meters) and a weight of 23 grams / 354 grain, this line is perfectly matched to pike rods in class #9.
Information printed on the line makes it easy to quickly identify the correct line. The two welded loops ensure fast, strong and neat mounting of both leader and backing.
