FLC #7 Single Hand Spey Intermediate fly fishing line
The FLC #7 Single Hand Spey Intermediate is designed for fly fishermen who want to make distant casts and powerful reel casts with minimal effort. This line comes into its own on rivers, streams and other flowing water, where control, line management and efficient casts are essential.
The special low stretch core has very little stretch, so every take is transmitted instantly. This provides fast, instant bite registration and extremely precise control of your fly. The soft, supple sheath allows the line to shoot smoothly, stay tight in the air and mix smoothly, even in varying currents or tricky drifts.
The compact Single Hand Spey profile allows you to easily load the rod with little line outside the tip. This makes the line ideal in limited space, high banks, dense edges or difficult wind conditions. This allows you to still fish effectively with reel casts and spey-like casts without needing large backcasts.
The line is bi-colored in orange runningline and grass green head, this helps in estimating the correct transition and refining your timing while casting.
As with all FLC lines, attention has been paid to durability. The FLC Single Hand Spey comes on a biodegradable spool and in eco-friendly packaging.
